So aside from making my own film sometime next month, I'll start going to school at UCLA's Extension school. What it is is a certificate program offered to the public and professionals in fields ranging from medicine and politics to communication and tv, film and digital media. Think of it as a UCLA level community college. UCLA prices included. All UC's have this,an Extension program, and their, to my surprise, rather popular. I plan to use this degree to get me into a good acting school, Julie Art, UCLA or USC's are in mind as I write this. So like in about a year, two years after I graduated High school, and right before I leave to Marine Corps Reserve Basic training next Summer, I'll have made a number of short films and possible a full length one to be sent to film contests, and a certificate at hand: Film, Television and Digital Media with a concentration in Acting from UCLA's Extension Program, Golden Seal of California included. After I become a Marine, I hope to start school in a New York or LA University. The certificate could help me land a job or two as an actor. That'd be dope.
After a year out of school, it's a good start, I hope.
